Privacy Policy
How Newcomb collects, uses, and protects your information.
This interim notice covers the information submitted through Newcomb's public pilot application. A signed pilot agreement and its data-processing terms govern any later use of the product or customer material.
What the application collects.
- Your name, email address, title, and company.
- The range of repeat legal questions your team receives and an optional high-level description of a policy your team keeps re-explaining.
- Operational information generated when the form is submitted, such as timestamps, request identifiers, IP address, user agent, and delivery or error logs maintained by our hosting and API providers.
Do not paste a policy, contract, legal advice, personal data about another person, or other confidential or privileged material into the application form. The form is for a high-level description only; it is not the product's authenticated upload channel.
How we use and share it.
- We use application information to evaluate pilot fit, contact you, plan onboarding, prevent abuse, diagnose failed submissions, and comply with legal obligations.
- The application route sends the submitted fields to Newcomb's application database. It does not send the form contents to a language model.
- We may share the information with hosting, database, security, communications, and professional-service providers that process it for us, or when required by law. We do not sell pilot-application information.
Retention, security, and your choices.
- If a pilot does not proceed, we aim to delete or de-identify the application within 12 months, unless we need it longer for a legal, security, or dispute reason. If a pilot proceeds, the signed agreement governs the associated record.
- We use access controls, transport encryption, provider-managed encryption at rest, and database controls intended to protect the application record. No internet transmission or storage system is risk-free.
- You may ask to access, correct, or delete your application, or object to further pilot contact, by emailing glucksman@newcomb.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
